Swiss Open

Played during the summer months in the lavish Swiss ski resort of Gstaad, the Swiss Open is the longest-running professional tennis tournament in Switzerland. First held in 1898, and originally called the Swiss International Championships, the Swiss Open has changed name and format multiple times since then. Today it is played on clay courts as part of the men’s ATP Tour 250 series. Held at over 1,050 metres above sea level, the Swiss Open is the highest ATP venue in Europe.
