Birmingham Classic

The Birmingham Classic is a women’s WTA Premier level tennis tournament held at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The tournament is played on outdoor grass courts and is as seen as a warm-up for Wimbledon and a sister tournament to the men's Queen's Club Championships. The tournament was first played in 1982 and has been won the most times by Pam Shriver, who won four singles titles between 1984–1987.
