Marina Bay Street Circuit

The Singapore Grand Prix is a very demanding, high-octane event that requires the utmost respect from drivers. With a series of 90-degree corners and a bumpy track which runs close to solid walls, there is no margin for error. It’s one of only a handful of races to run at night, so if the track becomes wet drivers will be in for a long night.

Because of this, the Marino Bay Street Circuit is one of the slowest in the Formula 1 season and engines are at full-throttle for approximately 50% of the lap. The average lap speed is around 175 km/h, while top speeds are nearer to 300 km/h down Raffles Boulevard.
