Founded in 1907, Venezia were initially known as Venezia Foot Ball Club. They were then named Società Sportiva Calcio Venezia and Foot Ball Club Unione Venezia. In 2015, they became Venezia Football Club. Based in the city of Venice, the club play home games at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo. They used to wear kits that were blue and red. But in 1908, they switched to black and green colours. 1941 was a good year for I Leoni ałati. It was when they clinched their first major honours - the Coppa Italia.
