These two clubs first came face-to-face in the 1923/24 Prima Divisione campaign. Torino completed the double over Bologna that season, registering 4-1 and 1-0 victories. The Rossoblù’s first win came in the third meeting between the pair – a 3-2 triumph in 1926.Overall, La Granata have a marginal lead in the head-to-head, aided by a run of six straight wins between 1976-1979. The Turin-based outfit also enjoyed success when the two were part of a four-team group in the Coppa Italia final in 1968. Indeed, they lifted the trophy after topping the group, claiming a win and a draw against Bologna along the way.
