Port Vale

Port Vale

One of the few English league clubs not to be named after a geographical location, Port Vale is named with reference to the valley of ports on the Trent and Mersey canal. The teams home ground is Vale Park in Stoke-on-Trent, and the team traditionally plays in white and black. The team shares a rivalry known as the Potteries Derby with nearby team Stoke City.
