PSG vs Reims was a fixture on the French top-flight scene from PSG’s foundation in 1970 to the end of the decade. Reims had the upper hand in the early days, running out 4-2 winners in the inaugural encounter in 1971/72. Les Rouges et blancs followed that up with a 6-1 win three seasons later.Losing their top-flight status at the end of the 70s, Reims didn’t make it back until 2013. Despite PSG’s lofty status Reims managed a 1-0 win that season and followed it up with a 3-1 win in 2018/19 – as they once again made it back to Ligue 1 after two seasons outside the top-flight. PSG might be well ahead in the head-to-head, but they haven’t always had it their own way.
