Overview
With Strasbourg yo-yoing up and down from Ligue 1 through the years, this is a classic French fixture that enjoys the occasional break. Strasbourg’s glory years were in the late 70s when a certain Arsene Wenger was on the books. Their one and only league triumph came in 1978/79. On course to winning the championship, they beat PSG 3-2 at the tail end of the season.On their return to the French top-flight in 2017/18 they once again ran out 2-1 winners in this one. PSG hit back with a 5-2 win later in the season. Strasbourg also held PSG to home and away draws in the following campaign.
