Overview
This one is a tale of two dominant teams. Between 2002 and 2008, it was all Lyon at the summit of French football. Since 2013, it’s been all PSG. In their glory days, Lyon didn’t always reign supreme over PSG with the Parisians always holding their own in this one.Since PSG’s ascension to the top of the league, they’ve left Lyon in their wake in the table and head-to-head. They recorded a famous 5-0 win in 2018/19, did the double in 2019/20 and claimed their second League Cup final win against Lyon in 2020. Lyon will however always hold on to their Coupe de France final triumph in 2008.
