Overview
Liverpool and Watford first went toe to toe in 1967. They played in the FA Cup but there was nothing between them as it finished as a 0-0 stalemate. A replay was needed, and it was the Reds who won it 3-1 and progressed to the next round. Since then, the two clubs have met quite regularly in the league and cup competitions and Liverpool have dominated for long spells. Between 1984 and 2019, the Anfield outfit won 21 of their 27 matches against Watford. But the Hertfordshire based club did win 3-0 in 2020, a result which ended Liverpool’s 18-match Premier League winning streak.Previous Matches
