OverviewInter Milan and Lazio first went toe to toe in the 1928/29 season. It was Inter who won the initial meeting, securing a 3-1 success at the San Siro. Lazio managed to get their revenge a few months later, with a 1-0 triumph at the Stadio della Rondinella.
These two have played plenty of major fixtures against each other in many competitions. Indeed, in 1998 the pair contested the UEFA Cup final, with the Nerazzurri claiming a 3-0 win. However, it was the Biancocelesti who emerged victorious when they went head-to-head in the Coppa Italia final in 2000, while they also beat Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana in both 2000 and 2009.
