Overview

This West London derby was first played back in 1892. Their initial meeting was in the final of the West London Cup and Queens Park Rangers won it 3-2. Since then, games between the two have been scarce at times as they’ve been in different divisions. But in 2011/12, they finally locked horns for the first time in the Premier League. It was a one-sided affair – Fulham won it 6-0 with Andy Johnson netting a hat-trick. Between 2002 and 2004, there was an extra edge to this rivalry. That was because the pair shared Loftus Road as their home stadium as Craven Cottage was having work done.
