Dundee

Founded in 1893, Dundee were formed after Dundee East End and Dundee Our Boys merged together. It didn’t take them long to achieve major success. They were runners-up in the Scottish top-flight three times in the 1900s and won the Scottish Cup in 1910. Nicknamed ‘The Dee’ or ‘The Dark Blues’, the club’s home stadium is Dens Park. Under manager Bill Shankly, the club won their first Scottish Football League title in 1962. The following year, they made their European Cup debut and made it through to the semi-finals.
