Chertsey Town Football Club was established in 1890. Nicknamed The Curfews, after a local church bell that rang out the evening curfew for over 500 years (the bell still operates, but in a ceremonial capacity), the team enjoyed their highest honours by winning the FA Vase in 2018-19. They play home games at Alwyns Lane, Chertsey.
