These two clubs first met in 1970. It was an FA Cup tie and Chelsea thrashed Watford 5-1 to progress to the next round. But between 1981 and 1987, the Hornets were top dogs in this rivalry. During that period, they won eight and drew one of their 11 games against the Blues. Between 2000 and 2020 it was a different story though. The West Londoners dominated this fixture in that time, winning 14 of 18 games against Watford. Nathaniel Chalobah is a name both sets of fans will know.
