Bury Town

Bury Town Football Club was established by a Mr. William Lake at a meeting in the Suffolk Hotel in 1872. They began life as Bury St Edmunds Football Club and selected royal blue as their colours. The club's name changed several times, before becoming Bury Town F.C. in 1923. The team has reached the first round of the FA Cup twice in the modern era, with first round appearances in 1968-69 and 2008-09. They play at Ram Meadow.
