Blackburn and QPR first met in league football in Division Two in 1948 – this fixture was then played in the second tier until 1983. The sides then didn’t meet again in the league until the inaugural season of the Premier League in 1992/93.Blackburn hit the heights of the Premier League title in 1994/95 and did the double over Rangers that season. Now at Championship level, it’s been all Rovers. QPR’s win in 2019 was their first in this fixture for 20 years.
