Overview
Barnsley & QPR first met all the way back in 1910 in the FA Cup; a 1-0 home win for the Tykes. QPR had to wait until 1948 for a chance to get their own back. They didn’t, as the first league meeting was a 2-2 draw in the old Division 2.Barnsley continued to have the early running for the next four fixtures, winning them all and scoring 19 goals in the process. Including a 7-0 and a 5-0. QPR then gained control in this one down the years, although Barnsley managed to do the double once again in 2019/20.
