Strawweight

With a weight limit of just 105lb (47.7kg / 7st 7lb), Strawweight fighters are the lightest in all of boxing. Also known as Minimumweight, it’s officially the lowest weight that’s recognised in boxing. Established in 1968 at the Mexican Summer Olympics, the official first world title fight wasn’t until 1987 when Kyung-Yun Lee became the inaugural champion. At present, the longest title reign is held by Mexican boxer Ricardo Lopez with 21 title defenses.
