Sampdoria

U.C. Sampdoria’s history can be traced back to the 1890s, following a merger between Sampierdarenese and Andrea Doria. Although not officially formed until 1946, the club has enjoyed mixed successes, with its peak being the late ‘80s and early ‘90s when the likes of Ruud Gullit, Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Vialli donned the famous blue, red and white.
