Founded in 1991, San Jose Sharks are one of three California based teams in the NHL. They compete alongside the Ducks and Kings in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference, playing their home games at the SAP Center – otherwise known as the ‘Shark Tank’. 15 years after their formation, San Jose reached their first ever Conference Final, losing to the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers.
