Founded in 1909, the Montreal Canadiens are one of the oldest professional sports franchises in North America. Nicknamed ‘The Habs’, they compete in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference and play their home matches at the Bell Centre. They are one of the most successful teams in NHL history having won the Stanley Cup 24 times between 1916-1993. Many legendary players have donned the iconic red, white, and blue jersey, including Maurice “Rocket” Richard.
