Dallas Stars
Founded during the 1967 NHL expansion, the Dallas Stars were initially based in Bloomington and known as the Minnesota North Stars. However, in 1993 they merged with the Cleveland Barons and relocated to Dallas. Playing in their famous victory green, black, silver, and white jerseys, the Sheriffs won their first Stanley Cup title in 1999, aided by the form of Conn Smythe Trophy winner Joe Nieuwendyk.
