Founded in 1924, the Boston Bruins are the third oldest active NHL franchise, the oldest in the United States and one of the ‘Original Six’. Success came quickly for the men in black and gold, as they won their first Stanley Cup just five years after their formation in 1929. The Bruins have gone on to lift the trophy several times since, cementing their position as one of the NHL’s most decorated franchises.
