Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Founded in 1930, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers compete in the West Division of the CFL. They first played home games at Osbourne Stadium. They then moved to the Canad Inns Stadium in 1953, before making IG Field their home in 2013. 1935 was a marquee year for the Bombers. It was when they became the first franchise from Western Canada to win the Grey Cup. They defeated the Hamilton Tigers 18-12, despite the game taking place in Hamilton. Since then, they’ve gone on to become multiple time Grey Cup winners.
