The Saskatchewan Roughriders were founded in 1910. They were first known as the Regina Rugby Club. Then in 1924 they became the Regina Roughriders, before taking on their current name in 1946. Riders are the fourth-oldest pro gridiron football team in the world. They're also one of the oldest pro sports teams in North America. In 1966, the franchise won their first Grey Cup title when they defeated the Ottawa Rough Riders 29-14. The Green and White play their home games at Mosaic Stadium. Their fans are known as the Rider Nation.
