Overview

These two franchises first played each other in 2003. It was a close game, which ended up going into overtime. The New England Patriots won it 23-20 thanks to a field goal from Adam Vinatieri. Since then, the Pats have enjoyed plenty of success in this fixture. Two of those victories came in the AFC Divisional playoffs (2013 and 2017). The Texans have had their moments against the Patriots though, including back-to-back wins between 2019 and 2020.
