The Battle of Alberta! The fabled rivalry between these two cities is one of the most celebrated in Canadian sporting history. And since 2011, this matchup has been saved up as a special Labour Day treat. The Stampeders won the first four Labour Day matchups, with Edmonton having to wait until 2015 to claim victory. That encounter saw QB Michael Reilly throw for 352 yards and three touchdowns in a 27-16 victory. The following year was an instant classic. Calgary needed overtime to secure a 34-28 win. And in 2017, Bo Levi Mitchell led the Stamps to victory and set a franchise record for most wins as a QB. This is the CFL at its Labour Day best.
