Overview

The BC Lions and the Saskatchewan Roughriders have been fierce rivals for years. They both play in the West Division and first faced off in the Regular Season in 1954. Since then, they’ve played more than 200 times across the Regular Season and the playoffs. One of their more memorable playoff encounters was in 2007. They contested the West Division final at BC Place and the Roughriders secured a 26-17 win. The victory meant that Saskatchewan would go on to play in the Grey Cup final for the first time in ten years.
