BC Lions

BC Lions

Established in 1954, the BC Lions are Vancouver’s oldest professional sports franchise. They're members of the West Division of the CFL and play home games at BC Place. The Leos won the Grey Cup for the first time in 1964, when they beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 34-24. Since then, they've gone on to win many more titles. One of those was in 1994, when they became the first team from Western Canada to win the Grey Cup at home. Between 1997-2016, the BC Lions made the playoffs every season. That run is in the record books as one of the longest playoff streaks in CFL history.
