Overview

These two franchises faced each other for the first time in 1995. It was a close game, in which the Toronto Raptors edged a 105-102 win. But the Philadelphia 76ers bounced straight back with three wins in a row in 1996. 2001 saw the first playoff series between the pair. They contested an Eastern Conference Semi-Final and it was Philly who earned a 4-3 series win. Toronto got their revenge in 2019 though, when they clinched a 4-3 victory at the same stage of the playoffs. Jason Kapono, Amir Johnson, and Reggie Evans are just three of the players to have played for both teams.
