The Indiana Pacers got off to an amazing start in this rivalry. They won the initial meeting between the pair 97-89 in 1995 before going on to triumph in each of their first 13 games. But it was the Toronto Raptors who were victors when the two played in the 2016 NBA playoffs. It was an Eastern Conference First Round series, which the Raptors won 4-3. Fans of both teams will be familiar with the name Jermaine O’Neal. He was a six-time All Star while playing for the Pacers between 2000 and 2008. He then moved to Toronto, where he stayed for one year.
