These two MLB franchises first played each other in 1977. It was a good year for the Boston Red Sox as they won 12 of their 15 games against the Toronto Blue Jays. Since then, the pair have played regularly in the American League East Division. Fans of both teams will be familiar with the name Roger Clemens. He played for the Red Sox between 1984 and 1996 and recorded 192 wins and 38 shutouts. He then signed for the Blue Jays where he played two seasons, winning the pitching Triple Crown and Cy Young Award in both.
