Established in 1961 as one of Major League Baseball’s first two expansion teams, the Los Angeles Angels compete in the American League West Division. The Halos’ home ballpark is the Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and they traditionally play in red, navy blue, and silver. Under the management of Mike Scioscia, they won the World Series for the first time in 2002, defeating the San Francisco Giants 4-3.
